Description
English: Register village borders in Jyväskylä (both the town and rural municipality) in the 1960s. Black borders are municipal borders. The smaller texts represent actual settlements (or suburbs in the case of the town).

Source: Maanmittauslaitos, Vanhat painetut kartat (https://vanhatpainetutkartat.maanmittauslaitos.fi/), select "Peruskartta 1:20 000" and download to see the maps. Settlement names in southern Jyväskylä and Keljo are from Seppo Lähteenmäki's "Wanha Keljo: Osa nykyistä Jyväskylää". Note that not all maps are from the same year, most maps are from 1963, but maps showing border areas may be slightly newer.

Do not use this for modern borders of Jyväskylä or its register villages (if register villages even exist nowadays), as small changes, such as the eradication of exclaves, have been made.
Suomi: Jyväskylän (kaupungin sekä maalaiskunnan) rekisterikylät 1960-luvulla. Musta raja on kunnanraja. Pienet tekstit ovat varsinaisten kylien (asutuskylien) tai kaupunginosien/asuinalueiden nimiä.

Lähteenä Maanmittauslaitoksen 1960-luvun peruskartat, saatavilla Vanhat painetut kartat- palvelusta (Peruskartta 1:20 000). Suurin osa kartoista on vuodelta 1963, mutta raja-alueita kuvaavat kartat voivat olla uudempia. Eteläisen Jyväskylän ja Keljon asutusnimet ovat peräisin Seppo Lähteenmäen kirjasta "Wanha Keljo: Osa nykyistä Jyväskylää (sivu 86)"

Jyväskylän rajat ovat muuttuneet, joten tätä karttaa ei pidä käyttää nykyisen Jyväskylän rajojen näyttämiseen. Varsinkin pieniä erillisalueita on liitetty muihin kuntiin.
