Notes Created in Warsaw, the brooch with an intaglio engraved on a Ceylonese sapphire was part of largest collection of gems in the 18th-century Poland. Presented to Alexander Bezborodko on the occasion of King's meeting with Catherine II of Russia in Kaniów in 1787.
