Der von der DLR-Marskamera HRSC auf der ESA-Mission Mars Express am 13. Dezember 2023 während Orbit 25189 fotografierte, etwa 240 mal 100 Kilometer große Bildstreifen deckt ein Gebiet zwischen dem Äquator und dem 8. südlichen Breitengrad ab. Sowohl der Vulkan Arsia Mons (südöstlich des Bildstreifens) als auch der Vulkan Olympus Mons, der größte Vulkan im Sonnensystem, könnten die morphologischen Strukturen in dieser Region beeinflusst haben.
