Description
English: Diagram illustrating that images in mirrors are reversed in the direction perpendicular to the mirror surface (the surface normal). Shows a viewer V viewing the reflections of three vectors X, Y, and Z (arrows) in a mirror M. The reflections of the two vectors parallel to the mirror's surface, X' and Y' are not reversed, while the vector perpendicular to the surface Z' is reversed
