Description
Nederlands: Het 200ste Vessel Protection Detachment (VPD) begeleidde afgelopen maand het zware transportschip de Red Zed II door piraat-gevaarlijke wateren. 11 mariniers beschermden het schip tussen Egypte en Sri Lanka tegen kapers. Kapitein Jan van Dijk sliep er in ieder geval een stuk rustiger door: “Met die mariniers aan boord voel ik me gewoon veilig”.
