Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The buildings located at 204 and 208 South Loudoun Street in Winchester, Virginia, are historically known as the Red Lion Tavern. The building pictured, 204, was built in 1783 by Peter Lauck, a member of the Morgan's Riflemen, and 208 was built as an expansion of the tavern in 1790. The properties were later purchased by John Fagan and remained in the Fagan family until 1991. The buildings are contributing property to the Winchester Historic District.
