Description
English: The entrance at the northwest corner of the city-block park containing Soccer Field 1 at the east end of Red Hook Park (Red Hook Recreation Area), near Gowanus Bay and Red Hook Channel at the southeast corner of Bay Street and Clinton Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The oval circulation path strongly resembles those of St. Albans Park (Archie Spigner Park) and Marine Park, also built in the 1930s. Except that the condition of this park, even compared to 15 years ago, is significantly worse, waiting for full reconstruction as part of the Red Hook Park Contamination Remediation. Seems familiar.
