New Orleans, La., Mardi Gras Day, the "Red" Pageant

View of the 1906 Rex Parade on Canal Street. View is looking riverwards towards the intersection with Royal Street. The Rex parade theme for the year is "In Utopia". The caption "Red Pageant" may simply be a mistake meaning to say "Rex Parade", as there is no record of an event called the "Red Pageant" associated with this.
