English: Maianthemum stellatum (Star-flowered, Starry, or Little False Solomon's Seal, or simply False Solomon's Seal; Starry False Lily-of-the-Valley; syn. Smilacina stellata)
Smilacina stellata Starry False Lily of the Valley, Stary Solomon's-seal Found all along the wooded river banks of the South Saskatchewan River both inside Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and in parks just outside of the city. A fascinating plant through the seasons from little spring buds to little starry flowers to stripy berries to deep red berries. Not poisonous but is purgative and will cause diarrhea.
