DescriptionRed-footed Booby (Sula sula) 1166057565.jpg | Red-footed Booby (Sula sula) on Little Cayman Island in a snag on the beach. Every morning we went out diving we would see groups of them heading out to sea. Red-footed Boobies are spectacular divers, plunging into the ocean at high speed. When they come back to land with the fish they have to dodge large Frigate birds that are waiting to harrass them until their drop their food. Little Cayman has a large preserve for the Boobies to bred in, there are around 5,000 pairs on the island. | ||
