RECORDS OF THE TOWN OF SMITHTOWN. 22$ theseverall tracts and parcels of land hereafter mentioned.April 29, 1736, layed out one certain tract of land lying onthe east side of Smithtown River, lying in a certain placecalled Bushy Neck, Containing one hundred and twentyacres more or less, as it was laid out and bounded as fol-loweth, on the east by land now in the possession of JamesDickinson, bounded south wardly by the middle of thenortheast branch of said Smithtown river, bounded on thewest by land layed out to Job Smith, and bounded on thenorth partly by the Country road and partly by land lefttwo rods wide for the conveniency of Job Smith andRichard Smith to pass from the said Country road betweenthe land layed out to Jonathan Smith and said tract to theirown Lands.* April ye 24 day 1736, then layed out one other tract ofland to the said Piatt Smith on the right aforesaid, lyingon the east side of Smithtown river, containing forty acresbounded as followeth, on the east by land layed
