Description |
English: A plank bridge crosses a shallow drainage ditch, lined with sod. Fort Stanwix. The branch of Teochnorat Creek is the only constructed water feature on the cultural landscape. Built between 1974 and 1976, it is a reconstruction of the natural stream that flowed east of the fort complex during the period of significance. While it does help to replicate the historic scene, the creek is not considered to be a contributing feature of the site's historic significance.
