Notes | Wooden boards. Remnants of 2 pairs of clasps. With the intials E O tooled on the upper cover and the date 1636. May be tooled in gold which has oxidised or tooled in zwischen gold. Metal cornerpieces. The Hutterites of Moravia (present day Czech Republic) had one or several binding shops using a limited number of blind tools from 1565 to 1680.
