[edit]
Description

The Caurdon G.III was a French single-engined reconnaissance biplane which first flew in 1913. The type proved very successful with nearly 3,000 being built. Their service was truly worldwide, largely in Europe and South America, but also including Australia, China and Russia. Seven complete examples are known to exist. This is the rear seat from one of the Portuguese Air Force examples. Museu do Ar, Alverca do Ribatejo, Portugal
