Description Mithras House, Lewes Road, Brighton, City of Brighton and Hove, England. Built in 1939 as an administrative and design office for the Allen West electrical engineering company. Sold in 1968 during a period of retrenchment; bought by a property company in 1972; later sold to East Sussex County Council, who passed it on to Brighton Polytechnic (now the University of Brighton). It is now one of the University's main buildings. This image shows part of the rear (Dewe Road) elevation.
