SEATTLE (July 31, 2014) Rear Adm. Mike Smith, commander of carrier strike group (CCSG) 3, serves meals at St. Martin De Porres Shelter with Sailors assigned to the Wasp-class amphibious assault ship USS Essex (LHD 2) during a community service project in support of Seatte Seafair Fleet Week 2014. Seafair activities allow the U.S. and Candadian Sailors and Coastguardsmen to experience the local community and to promote awareness of the maritime forces.
