| Description |
English: Reading motorway services (M4 eastbound) Visible in the hedge is a ventilator. The service area was, it seems, built on landfill which is still emitting methane gas. The ventilator is one of several used to disperse the gas which is, of course, flammable and liable to explode if conditions allow. The M4 can be seen at the left of the image. |
