[edit]DescriptionReaching those in need (11237183866).jpg |
The escalating violence in Central African Republic has made access extremely dangerous. Aid workers cannot easily travel along major roadways for fear of attack. Britain is supporting the Red Cross (ICRC) to help get medical help to those who need it most - including flying out critically-injured or sick patients to the capital, Bangui, for treatment. The UK is providing emergency healthcare, clean water, food and logistical support to hundreds of thousands of people across CAR in response to the severe escalation in the humanitarian crisis. For full details of how the UK is helping, please see: www.gov.uk/government/news/uk-offers-lifeline-as-crisis-w... |
