| Description |
English: Re-laying sett-stones at Greenway Bank Formerly used as a storage area by the Wardens for Greenway Bank Country Park ( http://www.staffordshire.gov.uk/environment/e-land/Countryside/OpenSpaces/OpenSpacesGreenwayBank.htm ) and therefore closed to the public, it is now being reburfished to create a new visitor centre. The old setts are being lifted and then re-layed to make a safe, level, courtyard for members of the public. The door just in picture on the left will be the entrance, and there will be a flowerbed on the right. My thanks to the gentleman working there who gave me permission to have a "sneak preview". |
