«Cette oeuvre porte sur le quotidien d'un trottoir de Times Square, animé d'un mouvement constant où l'étrange fait irruption dans le banal. Elle explore les manifestations contradictoires qu'on retrouve dans l'espace public et qui oscillent entre repli et rapprochement, fugacité et permanence, contrainte et liberté, inquiétude et sécurité. Chaque photo est un arrêt sur image réalisé à tout moment à partir d'une caméra web publique. La disposition en bandes de photos individuelles forme le patron des rues de New York centré sur Times Square.»
