Description
English: "The Clissold Arms, London Ray & Dave Davies Site of the first public performance of Ray & Dave Davies, founding members of The Kinks, in December 1960. The Kinks went on to become one of Britain's most influential rock bands and its members are regarded as the founding fathers of musical genres that emerged decades after they disbanded." Erected by Campaign for Real Ale at The Clissold Arms 105 Fortis Green Muswell Hill London N2 9HR in February 2006 as No.13 of 14 in the "Pubs in Time" series.
