Ravenna Park waterfalls, ca. 1910

Description

Ravenna Park was named after Ravenna, Italy by the land's original owner, W.W. Beck ca. 1889. The park was also known as Ravenna Springs and Big Tree Park. Between 1919 and 1931, the park was referred to as Roosevelt Park to honor Theodore Roosevelt but the name was changed back to the original by petition in 1931.
