Description
English: From the original articleː "Pictures of the four varieties of Ravenala found in Ambalabe. (A) Menafalaka: found only in the forest, the picture shows its red sheath. (B) Hirana: occurs within and outside the forest, picture showing the sheath borded by fringes. (C) Bemavo: grows on deforested slopes, with the petioles covered with gray powders. (D) Horonorona: picture showing its cespitose habit."
