Description
Deutsch: Raubüberfall in Zellershub. Münchner Tagspost, 18. Dezember 1837

(Rühmlichſter Dienſteifer.) Am 3. ds. Mts. (3. Dezember 1837) ereignete ſich im Landgerichtsbezirke Erding folgende wirklich intereſſante Begebenheit. Während des Gottesdienſtes wurde in das Haus des Georg Wandler zu Zellershub gewaltſam eingebrochen. Die Räuber banden den Bauern Hände und Füße und verwundeten ihn mit mehreren Meſſerſtichen. Nicht ſchonender gingen ſie mit ſeiner Tochter um, u. nachdem ſie dieſe beiden ſich unſchädlich gemacht, begannen ſie ihre Plünderung, nahmen 200 f. an Geld und bei 100 Ellen Leinwand, ließen die auf grauſame Art behandel­ ten Perſonen mit Blut und Wunden im elendigſten Zuſtande liegen und ergriffen die Flucht. Allein die Gendarmerie war ihnen nicht nur bald auf der Spur, ſon­ dern der ſchon bald ſechzigjährige, wahrhaft ausgezeichnete Gendarm zu. Pferd, Mathias Oberhausleitner der Station Hohenlinden, nahm am näm­ ichen Tage noch den Anführer, den berüchtigten Iſaak Hauswirth, in Verhaft. Dieſer im Dienſte des Staates ergraute Gendarm bewies ſeinen Muth neuerdings durch Ueberwältigung dieſes mit ſcharf geladuner Piſtole verſehe-

nen, von letzter That noch blutigen Miſſethäters, und hat ſich dadurch, ſo wie durch viele andere Entdeckungen und Verhaftungen, wobei er jeder Ge­ fahr ſeines Lebens trotzte, in der ganzen Gegend beliebt, und aller Ehre und

Belobung würdig gemacht.
