English: Ratvizan (captured 1790)

Scale: 1:48. Plan showing the body plan with stern board outline, sheer lines with inboard detail, and longitudinal half-breadth for Ratvizan (captured 1790), a Russian 62-gun Third Rate, two-decker, as taken off at Chatham Dockyard, January 1796. The plan includes a table of masts and spars.

The ship was of interest to Britain because she had originally been Swedish, designed by Frederick af Chapman. She was taken by Russia in 1790 and came over as part of the Russian squadron to support Britain's blockade of France.

Signed by Edward Sison [Master Shipwright, Chatham Dockyard, 1795-1801].
