Deutsch: Die Seekapelle an der Rathausstraße in Bregenz wurde 1445 zum Gedenken an den Sieg über die Appenzeller (1408) errichtet und 1698/99 nach den Plänen von Christian Thumb durch Kaspar Held im Barockstil an das Bregenzer Rathaus angebaut. Die Seekapelle besitzt einen bemerkenswerten Renaissance-Hochaltar von Esaias Gruber aus dem Jahre 1615, der ursprünglich in der Schlosskapelle des Schlosses Hofen in Lochau stand.
