Summary

[edit]
Description North Wales. The annual Snowdon mountain race in progress at the early stages. Taken from the Llanberis Path. Five hundred people run from Llanberis to the top of Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) and down again. The race involvels a run of ten miles and 3,000 ft of ascent and desent.. The track used is stony, uneven and not very kind to the feet, one slip and bloody knees, or worse, are guaranteed. What surprises me is that women take part. One would think they had more sense!
