English: Rare Victorian and very early octagonal post box, no longer in use, at the Museum of Lincolnshire Life, Lincoln, England. It was made by Andrew Handyside & Co of Derby in about 1856 for the Eastern District of the General Post Office. Two examples of this design remain in use; both of them at Framlingham in Suffolk. |
