| Transcript | The Sands Ramsey. Ramsey is the capital of the northern district as Douglas is of the south, and appeals more particularly to heads of families. Ramsey Sands swarm at all hours with children of all ages. The bay is well sheltered from westerly winds and quite free from treacherous currents, and has a magnificent sweep of ten miles between Manghold Head and the Pont of Ayre. |
