| Description |
English: Originally built around 200ac it is a step pyramid made with irregular rounded shape adobes. Located in the Hualla Marca territory (land of the Huallas) named by the famous archaeologist Julio C Tello, between the Surco and Huatica water canals. This territory also includes Huacas #Pucllana, Santa Cruz, Lima Tambo, Barboncitos among others. It's associated with Pinazo culture and it was later used by Lima and Ychma cultures as cementeries. It was reconstructed in the 60's, loosing its original rounder shape. No weapons or Inca evidence have been found in the site
Español: Construida originalmente alrededor del año 200ac, es una pirámide escalonada hecha con adobes de forma redondeada irregular, ubicada entre los canales de agua de Surco y Huatica. Este territorio fue bautizado por Julio C. Tello como "Hualla Marca" (tierra de los Huallas) donde también se ubican las huacas Pucllana, Santa Cruz, Lima Tambo, Barboncitos, entre otras. Se le asocia inicialmente a la cultura Pinazo y luego de un periodo de abandono fue utilizada por las culturas Lima e Ychma como cementerio. Fue reconstruida en los 60's perdiendo su forma redondeada original. No se encontraron armas ni evidencias Inca |
