The secondgallery between the choir and the deambulatory isthe most original arrangement. A restoration of thetriforium galleries was carried out in 1906. Thetotal length is now nearly 270 feet, including theporch. On the west wall is an organ case, the lowerpart of which is Renaissance and the upper portionlate Gothic. The high-altar is Renaissance, the stallslate fourteenth or fifteenth century, and there are doorsof the period of Frangois I. fixed to the wall on thenorth side of the choir. In the carving of the easternend strong classic influence is evident, notwithstand-ing its date, going so far in some instances as thecopying of well-known details. The carving of the archivolt is very fineand rich, reminding one of Poitou, though the sarco-phagus is unornamented. To the right one carvedcap remains.
