heir earnest and steadfast protest againstpilgrimages, idolatrous worship of saints, tombs, bones, images, and pictures ! And whenever I see peopleparticularly zealous in building, repairing, or servingthese shrines, I know them to be the ones who allowthe deeds of those who killed the prophets, and woulddo the same under like circumstances. Turning west, Jerusalem, the city ofthe great King, 3 lies all in sight, stretched out on itsseven mountains. It is a scene of surpassing interest, onwhich thousands have gazed in wonderment and ecstasyyear after year for ages. There is no view in thewide world with which it may be compared, for noother city has witnessed events
