English: 1959 Rambler American 2-door sedan, a compact-sized economy car built by American Motors Corporation (AMC) -- the first generation design. Note the aftermarket "curb feeler" mounted behind the front wheel fender. A type of short spring mounted antenna to help prevent scraping the wide whitewall tire sidewall against curbs. Picture taken at the 2003 AMCRC car show that was held in Somerset, New Jersey. |
