Description
English: Ralph Montagu Cook JP foundation stone for Cook Son & Co 22 - 26 St Paul's Churchyard, London, EC4 born 1871, married Millicent Roberts 1897; died aged 74, June 1946 in Maidstone district.. His wife died shortly afterwards, They lived at Roydon Hall, Paddock Wood.

boards.ancestry.co.uk/surnames.cook/7232.3.1.1.1/mb.ashx Interestingly their second son changed his surname to that of his mother and died on the SS Ceramic in 1942. the building was that of Cook Son & Co, a very large wholesale drapers, which moved here to St Pauls in 1843 this being the new building of 1933. Full name: Cook Son & Co. (St. Paul's) Ltd
