Description
English: DKW F8 in Dravograd in Slovenia, slovenic license "S 5575", apparently in the Rallye Monte Carlo, but the sign is not one of the official Monte Carlo plates issued by the organizer (these plates had the starting number on it), so who knows. There were three DKWs starting in Athens in 1956, but probably of a newer type.[1]. Dravograd is a town between Zagreb and Klagenfurt, which were on the route for those starting in Athens.

This Slovene work is in the public domain in its source country and the United States because its copyright expired pursuant to the Yugoslav Copyright Act of 1978, which provided for copyright term of the life of the author plus 50 years, or 25 years since publication for photographs and works of applied art (details). This applies to works already in the public domain on or before 29 April 1995, when a new copyright act became valid, which is also before 1 January 1996, the URAA date.

The work meets one of the following criteria:

a) a work of known authorship whose author died before 1 January 1945
b) an anonymous work published before 1 January 1945
c) a photograph or a work of applied art published before 1 January 1970

Note that other works enter the public domain 70 years after the author's death or 70 years after publication if the work was published anonymously. If this is the case please use {{PD-old-70}}.
