| Description |
English: Raised Beach by the Friary Hills, Blakeney. The trackway runs along a raised beach which probably dates back to the post glacial sealevel maximum. The furze covered slope is the old cliff line with small valleys running up to the south. These valleys were probably cut by solifluction action during periglacial conditions as the Devensian terminal moraine lies just to the south along the Cromer/Kelling Ridge. |
