This building was built from 1919 to early 1920 by Andrew Dow on the site of the Stetson-Post Block, in later days owned by the Boyle Estate and known as the Rainier Block which the new building took its name from. John Graham, Sr. was the architect. American Savings Bank and Empire Building at left. The entire block was razed in the early 1980s for the Wells Fargo Center AKA 999 3rd Ave. |
