| Description |
English: Railway line near Calvert. This railway line looking north-west serves the waste transfer station, see 499234 for the Calvert Landfill Site, see 439660, about 3/4km away. This was formerly the route of the Great Central Railway, which when it opened in 1899 was the last main line twin track railway to be built, see 409021. The track on the left is a siding from the waste transfer station, and in the far distance is the end of row of container wagons though these are not recognisable. |
