| Description |
English: Railway embankment of the Donegal Railway By Lough Mourne The Donegal narrow gauge railway ran by here to the delight of thousands of passengers right up till 1959. A more scenic journey could not be wished for and now in the 21st Century its closure like so many of the British railway systems can be regarded as a monument to the lack of vision of those at the helm. I have travelled on this railway I'm proud to say. |
