| Description |
English: Railway Station Ilkley Railway Station opened in 1865 and as now terminated here, but in 1885 the railway extended the service to Skipton thereby having a bridge built across Brook Street to carry the line through, which some people felt caused the town to be split into two halves. However the Skipton line was eventually disbanded and the bridge taken down in the late 1970s. |
