| Description |
English: Railway Goods Yards from Redheugh Bridge. In the distance, a view of Central Station 1631291 with a train just approaching the platforms after crossing the King Edward VII Bridge from the right. The line along the viaduct which bends around to the left after leaving the station, used to be the main line to Carlisle. This was changed in 1985 when the river bridge at Scotswood 45903 became too weak and rail traffic was diverted across the river. Continues the view shown in 1745158 |
