Summary
[edit]DescriptionRailway Bridge at Higher Kinnerton - geograph.org.uk - 299709.jpg |
English: Railway Bridge at Higher Kinnerton The east side of the Higher Kinnerton railway bridge. Although the bridge is still required to carry the village road over the cutting the trains stopped running in the 1960s. The track bed now hosts a footpath to the left, although it is not marked on the O.S.map. To the right of the bridge the cutting has been filled in and returned to a garden. Just in front of the camera is a relatively recently planted hedge, presumably to stop people falling down the embankment. |
