Summary

[edit]
Description

Railroad Valley springfish are federally listed as threatened. They are found in six thermal springs in central Nevada. The fish have adapted to survive in 86-100 degree Fahrenheit waters, water temperatures that relatively few fish can endure. Threats to recovery include invasive fish and habitat modification.
