| Description |
English: Railings at Marylebone Station Colourful railings outside Marylebone station incorporating the Great Central Railway's motif. The Great Central built the terminus at the end of the 19th century as part of its London extension, which gave it a direct route to the capital from Yorkshire and the East Midlands. Sadly, most of the London extension was closed in the 1960s, although the station remains in use for trains to Aylesbury, Banbury and Birmingham. |
