Description
English: The southbound night express train from Stockholm derails in a railroad switch and topples the last car, a combined second class day car and goods wagon, a few moments before the train should stop at Malmö Station. Because of the derailment, also the second last car of the train is overturned, a sleeper car with seventeen passengers. One sleeper car conductor on the platform of the last car is crushed to death. The remaining people of the other two cars are only a few minor injured. The accident is caused by errors in the alternating electrical switch interlock device.
