[edit]
Description
English: Rail Junction The rail link to the right of the signal heads for Kilmarnock while the one to the left goes to Ayr. The rail link to Ayr is frequently used by coal trains bringing coal from the washing plant at Knockshinnoch near New Cumnock to the harbour at Ayr. Much of the coal is exported from Ayr to a coal burning power station in Ireland.
