| Description |
English: Raglan Community Centre in the former National School
By the middle of the 19th century, the increase in the number of children in the village resulted in Raglan's first National School in Castle Street being unable to accommodate them all. In 1857 the larger building seen here was built alongside Chepstow Road next to the church on land donated by the Duke of Beaufort. The new school opened in 1861. The building is now the village's community centre. |
