| Description |
English: Ragged School Museum, ground floor Much as it was in days gone by, the object of the exercise being to enable people, children in particular, to sample what this sort of charitable Victorian education would have been like. Straight ahead are dressing-up clothes, on the stairs is an image of the philanthropist Thomas Barnardo himself. His legacy remains of the utmost value today over 100 years after his death. |
