Tекст из Радзивиловской летописи: "... и тъми вьсъми обладаше Рюрикъ. И бяста у него 2 мужа не племени его, но боярина, и та испросистася с родомъ своимъ ко Царюгороду, и поидоста по Днепру, идучи мимо, узреша на горе городок. ..."
