English: Race off St Aldhelm's Head Formed when strong tidal currents flow West, a race of white water is formed stretching a mile out to sea, caused by water dropping over large stone blocks on the sea bed. It is a very dangerous place for small vessels, the photographer was picked up by lifeboat here. |
